Fashion week is one the main reasons I wish I lived in NYC, but I don't so I tend to play catch up and usually that happens when I start to get really bored in class; almost makes me feel bad for the guys who sit behind me in Statics. For some reason I was really drawn to Zac Posen's collection. I feel like the looks might be a little old for me but the dresses really ooze poise and elegance. If only Mr. Posen came out with a line of sneakers like this collection.....

J.Cole is one of my favorite artists so I was excited to see him featured in GQ! I'm not the greatest fan of his style as of yet but if this feature is any indication of where that style is going preach! And he makes that jacket look so good. =)

the end of days

this is officially my last week as an official Pitt student so I walked around the engineering building one last time. I have to say I'm a little sad but once I really start to think about it I'm really excited. it's a great school and a great fit for most kids but just not for me anymore.

we got a dog!!!

Dear blog, it's been a while since my last fashion confession and a lot has happened:

• I  bought a new camera!! I've been wanting a digital SLR camera for ages but I was always hesitant to buy one because they're expensive and I didn't know if I would actually use it but I self indulged and got one!!! I got the Nikon D3000 from BestBuy and from research it was rated is an amazing camera for beginner photographers, and BestBuy was selling it at a discount so I couldn't pass that up. So far I love it and I can't wait to get good photographs to put up!! 

• Work has been going a lot better and I only have 3 more weeks of work which is really nice because I'm excited to go back to school even though I will miss that really nice bi-weekly paycheck! Yeahhhh for being an engineer!!

• I still haven't hear from University at Buffalo on whether or not I got in so I'm a little nervous since school is coming up soon but I'm still confident! Can't wait for Fall!!

Reebok X Swizz Beatz

 

Reebok has been stepping its shoe game up and announced a while back a calibration with one of my favorite artists Swizz Beatz. At the Reethym of Lite event earlier this week, they unveiled the new video, new looks, and a performance by the main man himself. I have to say, I am very impressed and very excited. Music obsession of they day.

I have been waiting for Watch The Throne to drop for ages and I was so excited to hear the new song "Otis". It has this old school swag kinda vibe going on and I am in serious music love. Everyone always hates on Kanye because he uses a lot of samples but this song has been on repeat all morning. August 4th, mark your calendars!
